I’m so excited to get started using my new sewing machine. Yesterday my loving husband came home with a gift certificate to Stitch Lab. How on earth have I not been in this store before?! If you are in Austin and adore cute stuff – hurry on over to the shop. We rushed out to make it before closing and I picked out some super cute fabric! I am overloaded with cuteness.

Back from a trip home to see my family. It was so great to see everyone and it’s always sad to go.This picture is of me & my nephew, JP. He is just slightly taller than his 5 ft tall aunt. This was taken on the Walkway Over the Hudson. I loved it up there. I’m proud to report that my fear of heights seems to have disappeared. It was super cold, so I bundled up in my sister’s sweatshirt. Jp is a teenager and therefore doesn’t get cold – so I used him as a wind screen.
